53 Capstone Road / Upper Luton Road Chatham https://whatpub.com/wheatsheaf
I believe the road changed name from Upper Luton Road to Capstone Road by 1938. In May 2014, the pub was called "Mossy's Tavern" but reverted back to the "Wheatsheaf" again by April 2015. The location is on Capstone road directly opposite Hopewell Drive. The "Wheatsheaf" had the most successful Petanque team in the UK at one point during the 90's. First called the Wheatsheaf, then the 'Old sheaf. Now disbanded.
I am informed that the premises was put up for sale in July 2021 by owners Fleurets.
