EDWARD PAINE v. JOHN POCOCK.
This was an information against the defendant, a beer-house keeper
at Brasted for selling beer at unlawful hours on the night of the
9th of August. The house was described by Superintendent Handley,
K.C.C. as the worst in the whole division.
Fined 40s., with costs. Paid.

George Faulkner, a beer-house keeper at Brasted, was charged with
selling beer during the prohibited hours on Good Friday afternoon.
Fined 5s. and 10s. costs.
