A Brockley Off-Licence Postponed.
The application of Mr. Arthur Abell, of 256, Brockley Road, for the
renewal of his off-licence to sell beer, wine and spirits, was opposed
by Mr. G. Pinhorn (Secretary of the London United Temperance Council.)
The Deputy Clerk (Mr. Alton Batchelor):- It is already opposed by the
Bench. We cannot hear you today.
Mr. Pascoe Williams:- Why not?
Mr. Batchelor. You cannot hear objections today. The application for the
licences is postponed until March 9th.
The Chairman (to Mr. Pinhorne.) You have obtained what you want. We will
hear you next time.
