From the Kentish Gazette, 19 September 1837.
DEATHS.
Sept. 13, at her father’s residence, the "Pavilion," Harbledown, in
her 18th year, Miss Ellen Philadelphia Archer, second daughter
of Lient. Archer, late of the 48th regiment, regretted by her
disconsolate parents and friends, and by all who knew her.
I don't think this was a licensed house,
but just a house with a name that could be used as a pub. However, I
am adding it to the list of beer retailers in the hope that further
information will come forth. Paul Skelton. |
