BEARSTED. Petty Sessions, Monday.— (Before J. Jacobson, Esq.,

James Constable, beer-house keeper, of Lenham, was fined 10s. and
15s. costs for keeping his house open after ten o’clock at night, on
Sunday, the 29th October.

Thomas Paine, innkeeper, Lenham, for a deficient quart measure. The
measure in question was broken.
