William Welsh, beer-shop keeper, Saint Nicholas-at-Wade, was brought forward to answer an information late against him by James McGregor, superintendent Constable, for keeping his house open for the sale of beer, at 11.15 p.m. on Saturday the 4th of September. Pleaded guilty. Fined in the mitigating penalty of 20s. and 12s. costs.
