The annual licensing meeting was held for this division on Thursday last, when the old licenses were granted. Peter Page, of Throwley, applied for a license to sell spirits, but the application was refused. Applications were also made for licenses of houses in the Littingbourne district, and the magistrates adjourned their adjudication to the adjourned licensing meeting at Sittingbourne.
