Originally called the "Limes Hotel" this pub changed name in the 1970s to the "Chimney Boy." It has now, (May 2015) reverted back to the "Limes" again, but I don't believe still has its hotel status.

The building gained Grade II listed status on 29 July 1950 and is described as an 18th century building with two storeys and an attic. As a Hotel it has been traced as serving beer back to 1871 to date.
