The pub was originally called the "Red Cow" but changed name some time in the 1970s.

I have been informed in 2015 that the pub used to be a gastropub but is now closed, date of closure unknown.

There is a "Poacher and Partridge" and I believe the pub reopened as this.

Project 2014 has been started to try and identify all the pubs that are and have ever been open in Kent. I have just added this pub to that list but your help is definitely needed regarding it's history.
