Sittingbourne
The only reference I have found so far for this pub is in the Pigot's Directory of 1828. It was listed under Taverns and Public Houses. I am not sure if there is a connection to another "Portobello" I also have reference to in West Kingstown, but a John Paine kept that between 1858 and at least 1866. Less I have mistaken the location of this one.
