Not certain about this one as the only reference I have found to date is from the following newspaper article. I know of a "Railway Inn," in Royal Tunbridge Wells, but not sure if this is referring to that or not.

From the Kentish Gazette, 1 August 1865.

Thursday. (Before Mr. Hawkins, Q.C.)

Robbery from the Person.

Ann Patterson, 25, needlewoman, was charged with stealing £3 14s., the money of James Brown, from his person, at Tunbridge, on the 1st July. Mr. Barrow prosecuted.

The prosecutor in this case is a market gardener, of Southborough, and was at the "Railway Arms" on the 10th inst., when the prisoner came in and asked him to treat her. He did so, and to pay for it took out of his pocket a purse containing £3 or £4. The prisoner afterwards sat down by his side, and shortly after she had left he discovered his money to he missing, he gave information to the police, and the prisoner was taken into custody and a quantity of silver found on her. It was also proved that the prisoner was seen to have between two or three sovereigns in her possession after the alleged robbery had taken place.

The jury found the prisoner "Guilty," and she was sentenced to four months’ hard labour.
