I have been informed that Mark Robson, of the "Just Reproach" in Deal has acquired a premises in Northgate and will be opening his second micro-pub called the "Thomas Tallis."

Thomas Tallis being born about 1505 and died on the 23rd of November 1585 and was an English composer of Choral music.

Thomas was organist at the Dover Priory, now the Dover College, and later was posted to Canterbury Cathedral.

Latest news being that the pub is hoping to open by the end of January 2016, and run by either Mark Robson of the "Just Reproach" in Deal or his daughter.

Local knowledge tells me this is going to open on the 22nd March 2016.
