The pub was the originally called the "Brewery Tap" and was the tap to the Walker and Son's Old Brewery, but has changed name to the "Tudor Inn" some time after 1976.

Apparently the pub was put up for sale recently for a guide price of £150,000, but at time of information being found (March 2015) the property had been removed by the agent. Unknown whether sold or still a public house.
