From the Kent Herald, 2 May 1833

Lewisham

On Friday evening and inquest was held before Mr. Cartter at the sign of the "Two Brewers," Lewisham, on view of the body of Eleanor Seal, age 12 years. It appeared in evidence that the clothes of the unfortunate child accidentally caught fire, and although she was burned in a most dreadful manner, she survived the accident of fortnight, when death put an end to her sufferings.

Verdict, Accidental Death.
