Gravesend Road Fairseat Vigo
Originally called the "Upper Drovers" and was on this site as far back as 1471. The name changed to the "Vigo Inn" in 1702, as rumour has it after a local man purchased it with "prize money" from his time under Admiral Rooke at the battle of Vigo Bay during Franco/Spanish War in 1702.
