The Petty Sessions register of 1869 stated no licensee’s name and a comment saying “? dead” and “not renewed in 1871,” I am also informed by Jim Packer author of the "Lost Pubs of Bexley" that it is not listed in Strongs’ Erith Directory of 1871 (preface dated December 1870) so, if it did at one time exist, it had definitely ceased by then.
