Built in 1869 by Kidd's of Dartford and originally trading as an off-license.

The site of the "Duke of Edinburgh" and the cottages beyond now houses Bexleyheath's 9-screen cinema the bingo complex, car parks and restaurants.

Licensing.

A protection order was granted to Edmund West, to sell at the "Duke of Edinburgh" beer house, Bexley Heath, he having taken the house of the executives of the late John West.

LICENSING.

On the application of Mr. Ridley, a protection order to carry on the business of the "Duke of Edinburgh," Bexley Heath, was granted to Frank George Straker, till the next transfer day, in succession of the late George West.
