Ray Harlow has kindly sent me the following information:- This is mentioned in an Indenture dated 29-07-1779 as being in St Peter's Parish near The Butchery (which probably places it in the NW corner of Market Street). The property is then owned by Henry Matson but says it was formerly known as The Punch Bowl and had previously been occupied by Henry Kipps, William Hall, Edward Batchelor and Nicholas Frisby, but no dates for these four is given.

That unfortunately is all the information that is know of this at present.
