Petty Sessions, Friday.

(Before Earl Stanhope, in the chair, the Hon. F. Baring, Sir N. Rycroft, Bart., and M Lambarde, Esq.)

John Townsend, beerhouse keeper at Riverhead, pleaded guilty to having his house open for the sale of beer during the prohibited hours of Sunday, the 24th December.

Fined 20s., costs 9s.

RIVERHEAD LICENSING BUSINESS.

At the Sevenoaks Petty Sessions on Friday last, the Bench granted leave to William Tedman to carry on the licence of a beer house in the Bradbourne road, lately held by John Townsend.
