Mentioned in Steve Glover and Michael Rogers book The Old Pubs of Deal and Walmer.

Originally called the "Pier Refreshment Rooms" and was housed on the very first pier way back in 1866. By 1974 and housed on Deal's third pier it was operating as "Goodwin's."

The restaurant come pub was due for renovation in 2008 and I believe when it again opened it changed name to "Jasin's."
