The premises was formerly called "Kempton Manor Hotel" and has a rather chequered history. It started life as a country manor, has also been a Hotel and around 1986 was converted into a Nightclub come Discotheque, but by 2014 was converted into a public house and restaurant to service the nearby Holiday Inn.
