This is the first and only instant I have seen of this pub, and I'm not yet certain whether there has been a mistake in the location. I do know of another "Two Brewers" located in Quay Lane, and I also know of a Thomas Harris who was licensee of the "Bull" in Tanner Street in 1881, but William Broad was licensee there in 1888.

Whitstable Times and Herne Bay Herald, Saturday 29 December 1888.

Thomas Harris v. George Lemond.

The plaintiff, who keeps the "Two Brewers," Tanner Street, Faversham, claimed of the defendant, a dealer of Boughton, 15s. 6d. for stabling, beer, spirits, tobacco and money lent.

Defendant admitted having borrowed 3s. 6d., but denied having had the beer and spirits. As to the tobacco he did not smoke, and had never had any.

The plaintiff said the beer, spirits, and tobacco were supplied to a man by defendant's orders, and the stabling was for defendant's own horse.

Allowing for the stabling and money lent, but not for the beer, spirits, and tobacco, his Honour gave judgement for the plaintiff for 12s., to be paid forthwith.
