The closed pubs web site says this  was a pub that was once housed to the east side of Court Street. It was identified as an 18th century beer house.

That's all the information I have at present.

However, further information from the census of 1881 gives a Robert Dalton as licensee living at the "Gun" in Church Road. Church Road is a few miles to the east of Court Street, so I am going to say that it is this pub.
