PUB LIST PUBLIC HOUSES Paul Skelton

Earliest ????

King William IV

Latest ????

London Road / Key Street

The Closed Pubs Project makes reference to a pub called the "King William IV" addressed on the London Road in Sittingbourne, and says it has been demolished. That is all the information given. Unfortunately at present I have seen no reference to this pub at all.

Local knowledge required here please.

This was a challenge as the interpretations of the census documents were very haphazard. Suffice it say that King William IV pub was in Chalkwell, which was swallowed by Borden and then by Sittingbourne.
