Samuel Littleton, of the "New Inn" beer shop, Orpington, was summoned by Sergeant Higgins on a similar charge. (For allowing bagatelle playing in his house contrary to the statute.) Defendant pleading ignorance. The bench inflicted a similar fine as in the last case 5s. and 8s 6d.
