ROMANCE ON MENU AT WINE BAR
IF YOU love her, tell her.
But if you really really love her, take her to the "Wine Bar and
Bistro" in South Court this Valentine's Day. Deal's newest venue has
created a scrumptious menu to tempt your taste buds - especially for the
most romantic night of the year.
On arrival you and your sweetheart will be treated to a cool glass of
bubbly prosecco, and when you are seated you can choose your starters
which include king prawn and avocado salad, herbed cream cheese roulade
with brown bread or smoked pork and apricot terrine with warm bread and
chutney.
And as food is the way to someone's heart, be tempted by chargrilled
sirloin steak, served with saute potatoes, peppercorn sauce and fresh
vegetables or grilled fillet of salmon, served with crushed new
potatoes, artichoke hearts and prawn butter.
Vegetarians will love a starter of tomato, red onion, goats cheese
and basil bruschetta finished with herb oil and wild mushroom, spinach
and mascarpone lasagne, served with salad and warm bread. If desserts
are your passion, indulge in red berry and whipped cream meringue with
white chocolate shavings and raspberry coulis, Baileys cheesecake or
poached pear with vanilla pod ice cream and toffee sauce.
Brian Short, owner of The "Wine Bar and Bistro" said: “We opened in
October with the aim of creating somewhere nice and different where we
ourselves would like to go to have a meal a drink and listen to music
taking in a classy ambience.”
The venue has a wide selection of food, wines and cocktails to make
your night extra special.
And as they know you'll love your night so much, you'll want to
return for live music on Wednesdays or jazz on Sundays.
The Valentine's menu costs £29.95 per person and a complimentary
Valentine's Day gift is also included for the ladies.
