Not a lot known about this pub at present other than it was open in 1946 and closed around in 2006 to be demolished in December of that year.

Further research tells me it was quite children friendly, but an internet posting of 2003 says the following:- "Friends of mine once tried to persuade me to go there for a New Years Eve bash which I declined 'cos I never liked the place. And thank god I did not. Some poor sod got stabbed to death by a lunatic who had decided to take a bread knife out with him for the evening and my mate spent all night being interviewed by the Police (they where not involved but everybody inside was given the full treatment).
