The Medway Archives and Local Studies Centre has referenced a set of documents, that I haven't seen yet, and is part of the Watts Charity MSS, 1579-1972.
Reference is made as follows:-

1706-1857

T34. Premises in Chatham, Rochester and Strood [Including 3 messuages on North side of High Street, Chatham; 3 messuages, Chapel and Sunday School, formerly a schoolroom, Troy Town, Rochester; several messuages in Cage Lane, including a blacksmiths forge; land, on which formerly stood the "Two Brewers" and 3 messuages, Little Borough, all in Strood] (15 docs,)

I do not know the date the document refers to, so it could be any time between 1706 and 1857.
