The Closed Pubs Projects states that the "Woolpack" was operating from between 1546 and 1652 and was addressed as 4 West Street. The information being supplied by Tom Baines. I also have reference to a premises address as 4 West Street from between 1596 and 1734 called the "Rainbow Brewhouse," the dates of which appears to overlap.
