The Kentish Express Ashford and District 24 December 2015 ran an article regarding the memory of long lost Ashford pubs, and mentioned one called the "Drum Inn." Unfortunately that was all they said, just the name.

From photos kindly sent to me from Jim Ashby, it looks like the building was still there in 1975 and operating as a firm called Kingsmans The Kentish ???ers, but the area was cleared some time after, the alley disappeared and new buildings built in the Tufton Centre, as yet date unknown.
