An advert from the 1930s identified this hotel as follows:- "This Hotel is beautifully situated in one of the most picturesque parts of Kent, truly named the garden of England, and within five minutes of Farningham Golf Course. Excellent Bud and train service. Two large car parks.

"Breakfasts, Luncheons, Teas and Suppers. bed and Breakfast 8/6. (Moderate inclusine terms). Alcoholic drinks served with supper until 11 p.m. Parties catered for, Excellent Cuisine.

"Beasley's Brilliant beers."

The Farningham Hotel was built in 1925, the architect's being J. O. Cook and Sons of Woolwich. The owners of nearby "Bricklayer's Arms," Beasley’s North Kent Brewery, bought the 2 acre site and then transferred the licence from the "Bricklayer's Arms." It was built alongside the new section of the A20.

I assume that whilst this was an hotel it would have been open to residents or people partaking in meals only.

At its closure in 2002, it was trading as a Courage house, and has since been converted into a residential property.
