Situated in the High Street next to the Parish Church, the building is Grade 2 listed, but from 2009, probably earlier it was operating as a newsagent called Mittel's, although the pub sign still hangs above the shop.

At present I do not have any further information as to when it opened or closed. Looks like it's been a newsagents since the 1900s, could well have been operating as an off-license.
