Industry nightclub in Spital Street is welcoming clubbers in with a
relaunch party on Thursday, August 22.
The club, known as "Crush" some years ago, is now being headed by Ryan
Crayford, who has 14 years' experience in the hospitality sector.
He says his prior portfolio of pubs, clubs and cocktail bars all over
the south east has prepared him for the new role he has undertaken.
He told KentLive: "I am very much looking forward to this next chapter
in my career."
When asked what new punters can expect from the reopening, he said:
"Obviously we don’t want to give too much away before launch.
"It is over 21s, we are aiming for clientele of 25+ really, and our
music policy across all three nights will reflect that."
With new signage at the front of the premises, its understood some
changes will have been made internally.
What can I expect?
The club is advertising soul nights on a Thursday, Friday nights with
hits from past eras and DJ sets on Saturdays.
A smart casual dress code will be enforced and doors will open from 8pm,
with last admissions at 1.30am.
In the weeks leading up to the opening, the club is hiring its new team.
Jobs are open for up to 10 new employees, which includes experienced bar
staff, club promoters and glass collectors.
