Whitstable Times and Herne Bay Herald, Saturday 11 April 1931.

"On" licence, Molash.

Mr. Frank Powell applied for confirmation of an "on" license granted by the Ashford Justices in respect of the "Larkspur" Private Hotel, Molash. He said the licence was granted by the Justices subject to condition that there should be no bar or counter erected, no intoxicated liquor to be sold off the premises, and no intoxicated liquor to be served except with meals or to residents in the hotel. The application was opposed before the Ashford Justices by a neighbouring public house, but when it was made plain that the application was not for a full licence, the opposition faded away. It was not repeated that day. Return of 3¼ years the monopoly value had been suggested as £75, payable in three instalments of £25.

The licence was confirmed.
