4a Knightrider Street Maidstone
Said to be the oldest building in the town and traced back to 1430. Classed as a wine bar, this changed name to the "Olde Thirsty Pig" at present, in the late 1990s I am led to believe, and the reason being given (unconfirmed) is that they changed the name to give it a new image as someone died in the pub.
