4a Knightrider Street Maidstone
Said to be the oldest building in the town and traced back to 1430. Housed within the estate of the Archbishops palace, this was once called Mill House Farm. Classed as a wine bar, this changed name to the "Olde Thirsty Pig" at present, in the late 1990s I am led to believe, and the reason being given (unconfirmed) is that they changed the name to give it a new image as someone died in the pub.
