Meopham

This pub can be dated back to the 17th century, originally called the "Mitre and Sceptre" then the "Leather Bottle" and later changed name to the "Swan"  then the "Harrow" and later still the "Eleven Cricketer's" but now said to be a private residence called Basque Cottage. However, a new and bigger pub was built called the "Cricketer's."
