They seem to describe themselves as neither a cafe or a bar but a flexible space where performances and events can take place. They say they serve local ales, some of which are brewed on site as well as Tapas and the venue is available for hire.

I also believe the premises is only open seasonal, starting in March 2019.

Not sure when it closed but was advertising the following on a web site in September 2022:- A fantastic opportunity has come up to join us on The Arm in the indoor space halfway along the Harbour Arm. We are bringing together the space that formerly hosted the Waiting Room Bar and Dino’s to create a larger restaurant and bar which will include a more spacious indoor and outdoor seating overlooking the beautiful coastal views towards the White Cliffs of Dover.

What will become ‘Platform 4’ is going through an exciting change as a space and we can’t wait to launch it this year but we need fantastic traders to complete our puzzle and make it a success. The space is undergoing major changes to transform it into a dynamic indoor and outdoor expanded dining experience with stunning views for both staff and customers to enjoy.
