Also known as the "Albion Bar" this one has kindly been passed onto me by Michael Mirams, but unfortunately I know nothing at all about this. Local knowledge appreciated.

Daniel O'Grady tells me that this used to be the Literary and Social Club in the 1970s and 80s. My parents used to go there every weekend walking from Victoria St., Sheerness. I remember it very well. There used to be benches outside to sit on and every Saturday a live band on the stage just behind the front window. On entrance there was a small dance floor and chairs and tables down both sides but mainly on the right hand side.

At the bottom there was a fairly long bar on the left and leading out the back to the toilets there was a gate leading into the alleyway. The school was on the other side but that was empty soon to be demolished. Great fun times. I assume it had a drinks licence. The windows in a wooden fan effect are original as to how it used to be.
