Situated along West Street, before Ivens and Quested Way was built and opposite Baldwin's Place. This pub was close to the Harrison's Nursery which supplied the shops, gardens and parks with plants, so I guess a good deal of workers from that establishment must have frequented it. I believe the pub was also close to Tong's the butchers.

The building gained a Grade 2 listing on the 14 December 1984 and is now just known as Bank House.
