Situated a short distance from the "King's Head" this Grade 2 building was listed on 29 September 1952 and is said to be built in 1420 although the hipped tile roof and brick chimney stake is 17th century.

The building was at one time an inn, although at present I have no further information regarding its name, and after closure became the local poor house.
