Jackson's Corner / Clinch Street / Britannia Road High Halstow
I have reference to another "Britannia" addressed in Lower Halstow, which I am sure is going to cause confusion. High Halstow and Lower Halstow are about 12 miles apart, so they are definitely different. It is suggested that the pub was damaged by a bomb that was dropped in a nearby field around 1945, so this may have been the closure of it.
