Only found two references to this at present, but I also have reference to
a "Fountain" addressed in Sittingbourne, which could well be the same
building.

Sittingbourne Petty Sessions. Keeping a Beerhouse Open During
Prohibited Hours.
David Whitehouse was charged with having kept his beer house open
after 11 o'clock on the night of Saturday, the 12th ultimo.
Police Constable Watson said that the defendant kept the "Fountain"
beerhouse, Milton. He went into the house about half-past one or two
o'clock on Sunday morning, and found 12 persons there.
The defendants said that he was not at home, and that three of the
persons were lodges.
Fined, Including costs, £1.

Petty Sessions, Monday. (Before the Rev. G. B. Moore and Sir John Croft,
Bart.)
David Whitehead, keeper of the “Fountain” beerhouse, at Milton, was
charged with keeping his house open for the sale of beer after eleven
o’clock, on Saturday, May 12th. Defendant pleaded guilty, and said he
was not at home at the time. This being the first offence, the mitigated
penalty of £1, costs included, was inflicted.
