I believe this use to be a mineral manufacturer that was situated close to the station that gained a license to sell cider off the premises in 1931.

Off wine licence, Sheerness.

Mr. F. W. Stalton applied for confirmation of an "off" cider licence granted by the Justice's of Sittingbourne Division in respect of premises situated at Railway Road, Sheerness, known as "Hero Works."

There was no opposition and the licence was confirmed.
