Above photo, now showing Langham Park Lodge, was once the "Magpie Inn." Kindly sent by Ray Hopkins.

The building shows a stone inscribed " Langham Park Lodge rebuilt Ano 1727" and below the "M B 1863" (Matthew bell of Bourne Park) and below this a recent, 3rd, plaque recording restoration in 1961. The building gained a Grade 2 listing on 14 March 1980. At one time during its existence it was known as the "Magpie Inn" but at present I haven't managed to trace the years.
