Only one reference to this found to date from the census of 1851 when it was being run as a Beer Shop by Jesse Smith. I also have reference to "Plough" at Grafty Green, and another "Plough" at Stalisfield, and this could on one of those. I have also just found another "Plough" addressed as Lenham.
