I know the next account doesn't prove that there was actually a pub of this name in Deptford, the licensee could have died away from his home town, but I'm adding it here in the hope that some more information will be found. At present this is the only pub I know of with this name on my site.

DEATH.

Wallis:- Feb. 6, at Deptford, in his 74th year, Mr. Thomas Wallis, of the "London Bridge Tavern."
