Opened on 3rd November 2018 this micro-pub is the brain-child of John Beerling who it is said had spent years wanting to turn his passion for real ale and craft beer into a business and, after finding out about a newly opened space which seemed ideal, seized the opportunity. His brother Max, who was a 17 year old sixth form student when the business idea was first proposed to him, absolutely jumped at the chance to avoid a-level exams. The two brothers, along with their cousin Luke (a trainee electrician and craft beer lover), began work immediately and "The Pub" opened less than a week after Max turned 18.
