Bexley

This is an interesting one and one that I am not even sure opened if indeed existed.

The census of 1871 identified 62 year old widower named Luke James Marshall, who was described as a retired Publican, but living at a house called "The Talbot" Public House Not Opened. This being identified on the same page as other references located along Church Road, and between an entry addressed London & Dover Road, and 2 Portland Place.

Dover Road is now the A207 and does join Church Road, but I can't identify Portland Place at all.
