Above Google image, October 2020, showing that is now the corner of Charlton Church Lane (Number 46) and Wellington Gardens.

 

Reference to this has been found in once so far. Seems it was being renovated in 1903, and if the building is the one in the picture above I would think that at the time it was having another two floors added.

Messrs. Furlong and son have received instructions from the owner in consequence of extensive structural alterations about to be made, to sell by auction without reserve, on Monday, June 22nd, 1903, at 12 noon, on the premises as above, the entire contents of 20 bedrooms, 5 sitting rooms, coffee rooms, bar, wine cellar, etc, comprising:- 14 satin walnut chamber suits, modern bedsteads, japanned furniture and appurtenance, blankets, sheets, towels, pillow slips, Brussels, tapestry and other carpets, foreign rugs, 6 divan club chairs, settee, over-mantels, a carved suites in leather, sideboards, board-room table, 50 bent wood chairs, 10 covered tables, china and glass, table linen, 20 dozen wine and spirits, cutlery, plates, kitchen utensils, wine baskets, etc. etc.

May be viewed the Saturday afternoon previous and morning of sale, and catalogues had on the premises, or of the Auctioneers, Powis Street, Woolwich.
