Operating in the the 17th century, but changed its name in 1773 to the "Old Redd Lion." Among the licensees (dates not known) were Isaac Foster, Samuel Glazier and John Hills. The "Bell" was sold in 1819 and was subsequently turned into three houses. Samuel Glazier was also the licensee of the "Horse and Groom" from 1809 till at least 1832, so obviously before that year.
